How does one get into SAP job market after gtraining and certification? Getting SAP trained and then certified is quite difficult, but afterwards it seems near impossible to get a SAP role as they all want hands on experience. Can anybody advise ?

I think you're on the wrong forum! The SAP here refers to \"Special Assistance Plan\" schools - where bright children go to receive an education that is a par above the rest.
I believe you're referring to SAP the software? -

er citygirl, I thought SAP refers to schools that are given a 'legup' for mother tongues? so far those sap schools I see may not be where 'bright children' go for education a par above the rest; but rather those schools that have stronger emphasis in chinese language. :?

hquek is right
SAP is not about \"better students\" getting \"better education\", that's GEP.
SAP schools were first established in 1979 to preserve the ethos of the Chinese medium schools and to promote the learning of Chinese Language and culture.
Some of the SAP primary schools teaches non-examination subjects such as Art, Music, Physical Education and Social Studies in Chinese, while others will integrate part of the Chinese Language (CL) curriculum with non-examination subjects.

Ha ha, sorry, guess I was writing from my impression - always felt that SAP schools are where the smart kids go and GEP schools are where the geniuses go! Us mere mortals end up in normal schools...

Hi Citygirl,
SAP schools use Higher Chinese and English as first languages. -
before discontinuing with HCL, please consider the implication of not having it when entering secondary school
from what i know, most schools discourage the dropping of HCL unless it is in dire situation -

and SAP schools cater for mere mortals as well - in fact the mere mortals form the majority in SAP schools still, and th GEPpers are the minority in the SAP schoolsHi Citygirl,

this is hilarious ...... Special Assistance Plan schools of MOE versus the SAP school (ERP software training school) running training courses for SAP .....I think you're on the wrong forum!
