Y can apply to 3 schools and it's possible to receive 3 COs but you can ultimately choose only 1 school.
What if received 3 COs on different date, would the acceptance dateline the same?

MOE portal deadline is all the same. Unless u talking about specialized schools like SOTA or Sports School.

Yes (for MOE schools) but you will be given ample timing to make your choice.

Fyi We received 3 COs last year. All diff timing. We had sufficient time to discuss and make our choice. So no issues there.

Kid was at the NSG these few days and she said that NJC gave out DSA offers via letters to some students? That's fast? I thought applications start next week.

Hi , my girl also got this letter too but it was not a confirmed offer letter. It was just an invitation to attend their open house and apply DSA to their school. Still need to go thru trial n interview.

Hi, we’re PR and unfamiliar with Singapore education system. We would appreciate some guidance here. My son is currently in P5, his academic performance is at an average level.

              1) He has start tennis and saxophone recently, but no competition record, will it still possible for him to get DSA at St Andrew? Normally what is the qualification for successful candidate?

              2) We reside in the Sengkang/Hougang area, and after considering St. Andrew’s School, we would appreciate recommendations for other good schools in the vicinity. (not IP as they are too competitive)

              3) If my son is accepted through the DSA process, will his placement in Posting Group 1, 2, or 3 be based on his PSLE score? Additionally, will the required score for this admission be lower compared to the typical S1 admission criteria?

              4) If he cannot get DSA and needs to rely on his PSLE score, and if his score falls into Posting Group 2 at a higher-ranked school or Posting Group 3 at a lower-ranked school, which one should we consider?

Apologies if my questions do not make sense. I truly appreciate your guidance. Thank you!!

Read this. You should find out how to attend their dsa webinar on 18 May 2024:

                  https://www.standrewssec.moe.edu.sg/dsa-2024-for-2025-sec-1-admission/

                  1. They’re not even having tennis dsa. Have concert band dsa but what grade is his saxophone at right now if he just started lessons? Unlikely to be dsa-quality in time for next year’s dsa.

                  2. No idea cos i’m not familiar with NE region schools. Are u eligible for SAP schools (CL/HCL as Mother Tongue?)

                  3. Yes, Placement in the posting group will be based on his psle score (see the table i posted above). Successful dsa candidates will just need to score the bare minimum of the relevant posting group. Eg to enter PG2 via dsa, just need to score 25.

                  4. He will only get a choice of posting group if his score happens to fall at the borderline option band indicated in the table above. So 21-22 gets to choose G3 or G2, and 25 gets to choose G2 or G1. Nobody else is entitled to choose.

Hi , can a child take NUSH DSA selection test and apply DSA for other schools at the same time?

My second question is for DSA leadership, what are they going to do at the secondary school? Need to commit just the leadership training programme or need to hold certain positions?

My 3rd question for DSA science if my child only have Merit for a SPSO…other comeptitons just participation cert. Does he stands a chance?
                    Thanks

These are the schools around Punggol , Sengkang, Hougang, Serangoon areas. Not considering whether they offer specified DSA.

Hi, just wondering what are the chances of being successful for Leadership DSA (CHIJ St Nicks), if my child is holding the position of Lead NE ambassador? She’s involved in many school wide activities, such as being emcee for various school events, being 1 of the 2 in the whole school to be selected for interview with Minister during school visits, and also responsible with sharing current affairs to the school.

Academics wise, I don’t think she can score in the low single digit, she is somewhere between AL 9-12, and also not in the prefectorial board.

                        Thank you! 🙏🏻
From experience , St nicks does not look for the super low single digit scorers. Typically , those scoring AL4-5 does not even get an interview . And neither her do the girls necessarily need to be head prefect or head or CCA either .

I would suggest that you apply for both IP & O level track to increase your chances .
