River Valley: <1km, phase 2C
Radin Mas: 1~2 km, phase 2A

River Valley is a little bit nearer, but Radin Mas is in phase 2A.
That's why I'm struggling with deciding which school to apply to.

Just go for Radin Mas in Phase 2A and check to see if River Valley is not too oversubscribed in Phase 2C. If it is not and you think it is worthwhile trying, then you can withdraw from Radin Mas and try for River Valley on the last day of Phase 2C. Good luck.

1. Anderson primary school in Phase 2A
2. Canberra primary school in Phase 2C as currently we are living within 1 km
Is it possible to drive and send to Anderson? Will it be hassle? Else we have to move house to Ang Mo Kio where house price are ex…

Yes it is possible to drive. It only takes 20min via Sembawang Road. But the driver must be willing to change their morning routine daily & so must the kid. If i’m not wrong, canberra pri needs balloting at 2c. If u are willing to try, i believe 2cs backup can be wellington pri. However, depending on your block, if not walking to school, your car journey may turn out to be 20min with all the traffic lights in the estate anyway.

Just checking if everyone is still having a handle on this thread. Phase 2A is over, and the final results will be released on Wednesday 16 July 2024 at 6pm. Judging from the 1st day of Phase 2A uptake, this year is going to be a bit more intense as the total number of vacancies has dropped (about 400+).
