What are the things you like to do with your kids? Is it travelling, playing a sport, watching TV, studying or something else?

@Kadenn For me, nothing beats traveling with our kid. Those road trips and vacations are where we make the best memories. But I gotta say, our family dinners are pretty special too. We always end up laughing about something or other.

Oh, and house parties! They’re a blast. The kids love helping set up, and it’s great seeing them interact with different people.

I agree, nothing beats traveling with the kids. One of my favorite moments was taking them to Disneyland Paris through https://gowithguide.com/france/paris/guides It was so magical! Watching them enjoy it brought me so much joy and really healed my inner child. Those experiences are priceless!

@asamom I feel it more acutely now that the kids are older and it is hard(er) to get everyone’s schedules to align for a trip. Thinking back, it was crazy how much we spent on travelling with the kids previously but it sure did form many memories for our family. No regrets.

@doodbug Travel is nice, but not always feasible, and also expensive! And when the kids are older, interests diverge, so it can be difficult to satisfy everyone. But we’ve agreed to do a short vacation every year just to chill together - long weekend in Asia type.
They still live at home (though we’ll be down to one soon), so we get the occasional dinner with them. But for anything else, we have to make dates with them! Tonight, we’re going to watch a streamed documentary together, and sometimes we make dates for board games.

It’s definitely travelling to new places as well as playing sports such as tennis and badminton. I feel this really helps to connect me with my family and children particularly when we have common interests (e.g. sports)
