Today is the open house for the former RJC campus at Mt Sinai before it gets demolished. DH went back and saw many old friends from sec 1 to JC and he is shocked that many still recognized him despite not keeping in touch with one another for more than 30 years. Also upset some have already passed on.
Next year is RI’s 1985 batch 40th anniversary. There will be a series of activities and dinner. -
I understand that in Y5, term 1 in RI only starts in Feb. Can I check if students will need to return to school in January? Any parents can share the school schedule for Y5 for Jan. Thanks.

For GCE “O” level students trying to DSA into RI, via “Sports” domain at end of Sec 4 -
if your Sec 4 results are mediocre, not advisable to attempt entering RI, via the DSA " Sports " route.
Why ?
Because
A-level preparation, for O level students, is effectively a very short, intensive, stressful 1.5 years. If you DSA via Sports, your commitment to Sports Cca is intensive! End up leaving you no time, to prepare for your A-level prep. Unless you are an exceptional student in terms of grasping 4 H2 A level subjects’ concepts well, and excel in your time management coping. But,
if you can’t manage your time well, end up struggling with H2 subjects, you may end up either repeat your JC (1), or don’t do well in your actual final A-level. -
Hi All, Pls help to advise the scope/purpose of JIP conducted from 20-Jan to 04-Feb in RI this year. Is it ok to skip the second week. We have some overseas travel plan, wanted to understand if it is ok to skip JIP. Thanks in advance.
