Me Time!

My “me time” is usually after my family has gone to bed. I will do some skincare like put on face mask while browsing some Facebook posts, packing unwanted clothings and books, and run thru’ my bills…not sure if these consider as“me time” activities 🤭 -

I completely agree—those quiet moments after a long day are precious!
I’ve been working on being more intentional with mine as well. Meditation is a great idea; I’m trying to make it a habit. Do you use any specific app or technique? I’m also interested in fun, creative ways to unwind besides Netflix. I’m always seeking fresh ideas to recharge without guilt! -

Not my generation getting married any more, it’s the next generation. One of my nieces is getting married next weekend, so it’s tea ceremony, church and lunch on Sat, and dinner on Sunday. This Sat, it’s the 1-month of another niece’s son - so another lunch and angbao. My daughter has Maths on Monday, so not so bad, and she doesn’t have a paper till Wed after the wedding weekend. She’s the youngest of the cousins on this side of the family, so her cousin forgot that there is still 1 more cousin taking A levels!
And our church young people are getting married one by one - lost count of how many weddings there were this year, and we have already been notified of a couple next year. We are invited to nearly all of the weddings.
Wow, that’s such a full season of celebrations for your family! It must feel special watching the next generation hit these big milestones one after another. Hope the upcoming weddings go smoothly and the whole weekend turns out meaningful for everyone. And if they’re doing any small keepsakes or fun touches for guests, things like wedding can coolers are always a cute idea. Wishing your daughter all the best with her A levels too!
