Happy New Year! Wishing all parents, students and families a blessed 2026 - one filled with good health, peace and love

We have also just released an article discussing the topic of raising resilient children and teenagers in a world / society where โbeing firstโ seems to matter significantly.
Some key highlights on how parents can help their children and teenagers build resilience in todayโs environment:
-
Redefining Progress: Help teenagers understand that growth is not linear. Falling behind temporarily does not mean being left behind permanently.
-
Normalising Struggle: Struggle should be framed as a signal of learning, not inadequacy. Adolescents who view difficulty as failure tend to disengage.
-
Shifting the Comparison Lens: Encourage self-referenced progress rather than peer comparison. โAm I improving?โ matters more than โAm I ahead?โ
-
Creating Psychological Safety: Teenagers need spaces where they can express doubt and frustration without judgement or immediate correction.
-
Valuing Effort and Process: When effort is recognised alongside outcomes, teenagers learn persistence without tying identity solely to results.

Happy Saturday! Hope all families and parents had a great start to the new year and weekend. Wishing all students the best for the new academic year as they return to school on Monday (and congratulations to all Primary 1 students for commencing their Primary School journey yesterday)

We have also just released an article discussing the topic of understanding ambition and why this is something that should be normalised rather than standardised. The article discussing an important question: is ambition a universal trait that should look the same for everyone?

Happy Tuesday! Hope all families and parents have had a great start to the week

We have also just released an article discussing how we can support and help students navigate the feeling of inadequacy.
This is particularly important in highly competitive environments such as Singapore, where students may often feel like they are never enough due to frequent comparisons with peers and societal expectations.

Happy Thursday! Hope all families and parents are looking forward to the end of the work week

We have also just released an article discussing the topic of raising children in a world where change is the only constant.
This is particularly important as the way children learn, communicate, socialise, and even imagine their futures is shifting faster than any previous generation has experienced. New technologies emerge, job landscapes evolve, social norms change, and expectations are constantly rewritten. In such an environment, certainty has become a luxury and adaptability a necessity.
For parents, this raises an uncomfortable question: how do we prepare our children for a future we ourselves cannot fully predict?

Happy Saturday! Hope all families and parents had a great start to weekend (and that all students had a great start to the new school year)
We have also just released an article discussing how students can better learn discernment in a world full of noise. We live in an age of abundance: abundant information, abundant opinions, abundant options. Yet for all this availability, clarity often feels harder to find.
Students are told to chase the โrightโ grades, pursue the โbestโ schools, choose the โsafestโ careers, and surround themselves with the โrightโ people. Advice comes from teachers, parents, peers, social media, and increasingly, algorithms. In such an environment, the challenge is no longer access to guidance, but the ability to exercise discernment.
