Happy Saturday! Hope all families and parents had a great start to weekend (and that all students had a great start to the new school year)
We have also just released an article discussing how students can better learn discernment in a world full of noise. We live in an age of abundance: abundant information, abundant opinions, abundant options. Yet for all this availability, clarity often feels harder to find.
Students are told to chase the βrightβ grades, pursue the βbestβ schools, choose the βsafestβ careers, and surround themselves with the βrightβ people. Advice comes from teachers, parents, peers, social media, and increasingly, algorithms. In such an environment, the challenge is no longer access to guidance, but the ability to exercise discernment.
Do give it a read and let us know your thoughts!

Happy Friday! Hope all families and parents are looking forward to the weekend

We have also just released an article discussing the topic of why making mistakes / being incorrect is an important element for young children and students growing up.
This is important because every mistake carries information. It shows what a student understands, where gaps exist, and how thinking can be refined. When mistakes are treated purely as failure, students miss the chance to analyse and learn from them. However, when they are treated as feedback, something shifts. Students begin to see errors not as endpoints, but as signposts pointing toward improvement.

Happy Tuesday! Hope all families and parents have had a great start to the week

We have also just released an article discussing an interesting topic around whether debates actually help group work.
Group work is rarely just about completing a task. It is also about navigating different opinions, working styles, and personalities. In this setting, debates often emerge naturally. Sometimes they are encouraged as a way to deepen thinking. Other times, they are avoided out of fear that disagreement will derail teamwork.
The question is not whether debates occur in group work, but whether they help or hinder the process.

Happy Thursday! Hope all families and parents are looking forward to the end of the work and school week

We have also just released an article discussing an interesting topic on how much freedom parents should give when raising their children.
The goal of parenting is not to raise children who are free from guidance, but children who can guide themselves. Freedom works best when paired with trust, structure, and presence. Like flying a kite, it is a dynamic process; one that demands attention, responsiveness, and the wisdom to know when to hold firm and when to let go.
The question is not whether to give freedom, but how intentionally we choose to do so.
