Happy Thursday! Hope all families and parents are looking forward to the end of the work week

We have just released an article discussion the topic of how parents can encourage their children to speak Chinese at home.
Your child may complete Chinese worksheets and prepare for spelling tests, yet switch to English whenever a conversation begins. For parents, this can raise a practical question: how can we give our children more opportunities to use Chinese comfortably?
Start with situations where your child has something they want to say. A conversation about a favourite character, a weekend outing or a game gives language a clear purpose.
You do not need to turn every interaction into a lesson. Choose a few manageable opportunities to speak, listen and build on what your child already knows.
Do give it a read and let us know your thoughts!

Happy Saturday! Hope all families and parents have had a great start to the weekend

We have just released an article discussing the topic of whether children are learning from the use of AI or simply just copying the answer.
Your child finishes a difficult homework question in minutes. The answer is neatly written, the explanation sounds convincing and every step appears complete.
Then you ask, βCan you explain how you got there?β They hesitate. For parents, this raises a question worth exploring: what role did AI play in the work, and what can the child now do independently?
When discussing AI and homework, look closely at how your child uses the assistance. A useful starting point is to ask them to show the conversation alongside their finished work.
Do give it a read and let us know your thoughts!
