1) Ichiban Kiddie Kollege @Blk 631
Centre not particular about hygience.
Re: Visited the centre at toddlers napping time, saw the Cleaner sweeping the floor next to a sleeping toddler!
2) Carpe Diem @Blk 167
Centre floor is dirty and not well-ventilated.
Re: Kitchen situated next to or rather inside classroom. Hence, air is not well-ventilated. Floor is oily and sticky, I practically tip-toe around while viewing their facilities.

Hi dearzen,
yeah i like the environment and curriculum of Agape Little Uni at Cashew and did plan to enrol my child there when she turns 18mth. The place is new and clean. They teach phonics using letterland and have gymplay too.
However i do have some concerns after visiting the centre 3 times since last year. Each visit i spoke to a new playgroup teacher incharge as the previous one has left. Within a year or less, they have changed at least 3 playgroup teachers. It seems the turnover of teachers pretty high there so i am worried. Or is such turnover rate normal for childcare centres?
I also plan to visit The Children Campus and Little Wonders soon before making a decision. -
My DD was with Children Campus for 2 years before we withdrew her out to attend private kindy. She spent her N1 and N2 there as full day child. That was in 2008, 2 yrs back so my feedback can be used as a reference, just for sharing purpose. She enjoys going to school & knows a lot of frenz. The place is well kept and tidy though unavoidably HFMD does happen but it affects a small gp of children and the school is very prompt in informing parents the moment they are notified. Staff turnover is relatively low and in fact my child's Eng teacher was the same throut the 2 yrs though there are a few changes to the Chinese teacher. Regular update is made known thr the comm book and alw find no prob talking with the teachers when I need to. Food is hygiene and the place is conducive for children. Curriculum coverage is adequate and there is a good mix of reading, playing, art & craft etc. The lady principal was not there at that time, u/s the centre mgr has gotten into partnership with the principal as I met the mgr a month ago and happened to chat on this.
Overall exp is great. :please: We decided to withdraw our child out when she was going to K1 as we felt that too much time was spent on childcaring which I think is typical for childcare setting. Thus, we moved to Kindy where she can eliminate on all the napping, bathing and mealtimes since my mum is able to help me out subsequently. Also, school fees is on the high side so we are trying to cut down on the cost with the arrival of my DS. That's another reason. -
any reviews on greenfield montessori at hong san walk, its just beside ichiban montessori. awnw, I will be gg down to view these two montessori soon.
my other shortlisted are agape little, ichiban kiddie, though gloryland and cherrie heart is very near my house but i find their school like very run down, as i prefer a nice environment, better if its landed property as my sons are currently in landed childcare. -
Try Gracefields Kindergarten near the Bukit Panjang Post Office(Phoenix LRT).It has got a nice green patch of land and is not conducted in a mall environment. It has got 3 hr sessions one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.Teachers are also quite good and dedicated.

mummies,
agape little uni
i went to view agape at cashew and find that the environment not bad, clean, don;t have swimming lesson for the kids though they have a pool beside the school and kids are seldom bring out to the playground to play but school hire professionals to conduct gym play in the hall.
greenfield montessori
erm… the principal wasn’t friendly from first impression… well… the same apply to the two foreign teachers that i saw and the clean aunty too! so i think this school is out for me. Premise is big with basement 1 where they have cookery class and art but overall school is quite old and toilet too.
will be gg the children campus and ichiban kiddie college soon. -
my dd is with agape at cashew heights for 1.5yrs. now thinking about switching cc because the teachers are not very patience with him. also partially my dd temper is also not very good. he can very stubbon at time.

Let me know when you have seen orange tee, can? Tks -
I went to orange tree to take a quick look last friday. they were having national day celebration so the in-charge gave me a quick tour.
I really like the environment. the area is big and spacious. They have got play pool, play ground and bicycles. too bad the pg class is full. and it is a bit inconvenient for me. The N1 class is very small. so I guess it is good because more attention will be given to my boy. but i didnt get a chance to talk to the teachers. so cant comment much on that.
I really like agape environment too because it is clean. all the good teachers left already. I also worried that if my son goes to another school, wont guarantee that the turnover rate of teachers are not high. as for agape, I try to communicate more with the teachers. sigh… I really hate to change school because my son say that he has friends there.
