Hihi all, my eldest child also born in 2009 and 2016 in-take. It will be our very first experience on P1 registration...so super excited and stressed. Now hubby and i hunting for places within 1km to school. Our first choice is Pei Hwa and second is Bukit Panjang...:)

I am also looking for speech and drama class for my 3 yr old, am considering Act 3 but too far for us...:(

My family's tcm physician is at bukit batok east blk 271. The physician 黄医师 is singaporean and very patient, would translate and explain those tcm terms in english for us. I can see improvements in my child's appetite and weight after 2months so quite satisfied so far. Must prepare to wait though

Thanks all for yr suggestions. For my office party, they ordered from bakers oven, also not bad, rich dark chocolate,not too sweet but they got limited flavor, chocolate and vanilla only. Breadtalk got more choices.

Thanks all for yr valuable advice. Agree that personality plays an important part in readiness for cc. Guess my child is the first grandchild and very pampered by both hb and my parents… she is quite an extreme case…has nightmares, down with fever and flu, and passed greenish motion which my in laws said is due to shock…mil said too much crying will affect child health and she also noticed that my child swollowed alot of mucus after all that crying because teachers r too busy to clean her nose for her…

After much struggle, hb decided to put on hold for two months to let her get over this trama…

My 19 mth just started cc this week and has been crying badly everyday…very heartpain…my mil thinks I am a heartless mother to send child to cc at such a tender age…i want her to attend cc to learn more and be independent rather watching tv programmes at home daily. But I am also afraid that all this crying wil kill her interest in learning and develop a phobia of going to school .

Would appreciate to get advice from parents here…many thanks…

yeah i like the environment and curriculum of Agape Little Uni at Cashew and did plan to enrol my child there when she turns 18mth. The place is new and clean. They teach phonics using letterland and have gymplay too.

However i do have some concerns after visiting the centre 3 times since last year. Each visit i spoke to a new playgroup teacher incharge as the previous one has left. Within a year or less, they have changed at least 3 playgroup teachers. It seems the turnover of teachers pretty high there so i am worried. Or is such turnover rate normal for childcare centres?

I also plan to visit The Children Campus and Little Wonders soon before making a decision.
