Help pls… -
Hi,
Just want to do some justice to Zion Bishan. My girl is in the N1 class since beginning of this year and she was the one who took longest to settle down (ard 2 months then stop crying). However, her teachers are still very patient and caring towards her and will update me on her progress when I fetch her back from school. After 2 months of crying, she finally settled down and enjoy going to school alot.
The school updates the parents regularly thr’ newsletters and her teachers are very approachable and friendly. They have meet the parents session end of each semester which the teachers will tell you more about your child’s progress and give you a checklist to indicate your child’s proficiency level in some of the tasks done.
The school environment is generally clean and neat and has its own playground and music room. Overall, I would say its considered quite good for a kindergarten. Maybe the only drawback is the curriculum not “chim” enough (eg no spelling and 听写). -

Think the $170 is only for N1. I registered my gal at at TP East. Fees for N1 is $160. However, for Nursery to K2, is $105 - $115.hihi
thks for the info on blk 157 pcf .
it one of mine option for mine gal too, the other is TPMC, as both offer N1. and both is near the central.
But personally i think $170/mth for PCF is on the high side.
Cos usually people will think PCF is the cheapest option when comes to pre sch edu. By setting the base at $170/mth, this allow others kinder to set much higher sch fee. And the system dun have much subsiy for kinder education, compare to childcare.
I asked them about the fees before and they said is cos of fewer students than in the usual class. -
anyone try Totsville Montessorri? :?
They have full montessorri programme I heard. -

Totsville Montessorri is an enrichment centre yah?
My friend has sent her girl there recently for couple of times per week.
We both went down to visit and take a look couple of months ago and spoke to the principal. She was really friendly and look energetic and experienced. We also like the environment and classrooms, very bright and cheery.
I would have like to send my 3 yo there if not for the fact that I think he is not yet ready. But I am quite sure once he is ready perhaps 4 yo even 5 yo and needs additional enrichment for English or Maths, I will definitely send him to Totsville (under Serene!).

Hi DesertWind
Thanks for your sharing. We checked out carpediem and although we like the place but the fees are on the high side. The centre is probably positioned to be more high end as it is at the landed estates.
Sigh…why it is so difficult to find a good childcare? Hope you have more luck in your search process. -

Try \"My Little Campus\", they have a branch in Bishan. My colleague sent her son there for a few years (he is already now in P1) and she has very good feedback about this CCC. Her son always sounded to have much fun and he wants to go to his CCC even on weekends/holidays!

For me, I don't need a childcare centre. Have signed my son up for a kindy next year to start Nursery!

Hi , I recommend Knowledge frontier center in Block 229 in Bishan Street -23.My sons were with Teacher Catherine for almost 3 years ,her teaching is child centered, the student -teacher ratio is also less.Excellent option for parents with kids living in Bishan.
