P2C reg will be on 2 to 4 Aug and results will be on 13 Aug.

I am registering my only son for Nan Hua Pri and there are definitely balloting < 1km.

          hi peace04

The date will only be announced later.

Based on past yearโ€™s, it will be between 5 Aug to 12 Aug. Most probably on either 11 or 12 Aug.

U can check through the MOE website around the 10th and 11th Aug 2010 for which Primary Schools that needs Balloting( within 1km/1-2km/2km and above. )

The balloting date (If it needs) will be on the announcement date itself 13th Aug 2010.

Actually the staffs will tells u during your registration that there will be a very high chance of balloting a not .

Normally for those very popular Schools that there sure to have balloting , the staffs will gives u a form stating the balloting date and time in advance.
              Normally starts at around 9.00am.

The MOE website isn't up-to-date. I called the school of choice, the vacancy is lesser than mentioned on the website. Sigh.....

Somemore is on 19th Jul updates. ๐Ÿ™

I think 4th Aug PM will be mad rush for KS parents running around for choice of school.

How come MOE do not go Green?
All students must stay within school radius. Less travelling for student and parents.

Actually, MOE is trying to be green, and hence the distance sets in when there is balloting. It's parents who are not green. The parents are the ones who decide to send their children to schools not near their houses for one reason or another.

MOE believes that all schools are the same. Parents do not think so, though.
