My twin nieces, now in secondary schools, told me that when they were in PH, both of them were in different class since P2 through P6, the degree of difficulty as well as the amount of homeworks varied. At times, it could vary alot, like one had to do till late night on consecutive days, whereas the one could watch TV right after bath and lunch daily.E3
Thanks for your reply. Dd never have homework during the first half year of P2 and not even during June hol. The class was only told to memerise a Chinese poem throughout the whole hol.
My dd's class is also going to Cold Storage today which she is very excited about.
The Cold storage trip sound so fun. Has this program been there all along? My child did not have it last year, she missed it? -

Admin staff told me 99% in, so shouldn't be an issue since your hubby is old boy of Pei Hwa while I am old gal of CHIJ...we are really in same phase. HaHa.
Pei Hwa doesn't have alumni, that's the reason why parents registered at Phase 2A2. My son told me there were many parents who came in the morn. -
first day morning usually more people. All kan cheong.
Some may still think that register early got advantage should there be not enough vacancies. -
Oh I didn’t know that there’s no alumni for Pei Hwa… When my in-laws asked my DH to sign up for alumni to guarantee a place… my husband said it was a waste of money… then when I saw that no parents signed up under 2A1, i was teasing DH ‘wah, pei hwa ex-sch boys r too cheapskate to sign up, like u!’ LOL!!!
Now I know why!! -

that's why I believe the school will know how to handle those weaker kids. It is usually us parents who are kiasu and think put pressure on kids inadvertently.

Once registered, nothing can be done but to wait lor.
I saw a group of P2 MGS girls at Giant IMM 2 weeks ago...it so happens one of the gals is the daughter of my ex-neighbour. They were busy writing down prices of dairy products.
