I checked academic results, MS seems to be doing better than SJIJ, but I think SJIJ is catching up (heard that the sh drill and drill students to perform better).

I have a fren who is a teacher in SJIJ and a fren of a fren who is a teacher at Maris Stella.


Both clam up and just smiled when i ask about their schools. I wonder if it says anything?

...think too many PVs and old boys around... catholics only make up less than 20% of the school population, if i didn't remember wrongly...

When my son was taking the entrance exam in yr 2008 for transfer to MSHS , there were five other boys from SJIJ taking the same exam. Overheard their mothers' conversation, they wanted to transfer their boys to MSHS because their boys are poor in their chinese, wanted to change them to a SAP school. If I am not wrong, they were not selected because the entrance exam also required them to take a chinese test.
