      Today's weather is bad.

Ah Bee....I went and it was fantastic!!!! Not hot at all and mainly windy...feels like it is something do-able every week if the weather is fine.

100 mm rain in 1hrs is very abnormal.

It is not reasonable to design & construct drainage system to cater for abnormal heavy rainfall.
Ke...ke...ke....no sign of floods today at Orchard Road. In the evening it was very clean and fresh and dry!

flash floods, comes in flash, goes in a flash

this morning after the downpour, 6.30am, the flood water is up to NYPS gate B…and by 7.30am is gone !

however some cars stalled in the middle of the road near to Gate B of NYPS

over at Farrer, it was big jam as buses from Farrer turning into Bukit Timah toward HCI were backed up to Holland / Queensway junction as the stretch at Lutheran Road bus stop was heavily flooded…some drivers caught in the midst of the jam were unaware and continue to hope to get to Bukit Timah … they should just go straight to Lornie and find a way home to go back to bed …

conventional wisdom says that ppty from Bukit Timah road going into King's, Queen's, Coronation Rd, ...... all the way to NYPS ......is prone to flood. Beyond NYPS is safe - no flood, not even last Nov

Be prepared for more flooding with the Circle Line being constructed. Bukit Timah has been known to be a flood zone for long time.

Download to your iphone - Traffic (from explorer tchnologies) which saved us getting stuck in jams/floods this morning.

The alerts sent in from users warned of non-moving traffic at braddell and flood near eunos. We got to ds’ school 45 minutes late as we were able to detour the affected areas and not get stranded somewhere.

This app complements LTA’s cameras and news webby.Very useful as the NEA website only warns of floods in low-lying areas.
