Turned out that he did not receive a hols assignment for MA. Only recd on Monday, hence rushed out the assignment on Monday. He said some other students also like this.

I was surprised to see him at the study desk for so long too. Could also tell that he's working really hard, mumbling to himself at times. After he rushed out n handed in on Tues, he then knew the teacher said to hand in on Friday :roll: At first I did not know it's Maths, so I asked him if he had done a good job. He told me only right or wrong ans, no such thing as good or bad. Only then I realised it's Maths.

Went to pick him up after the French class this evening. While waiting for a taxi, he commented that he wonders whether he should continue with learning French. I wonder who else has dropped this subject.

Anyway, today's tests were okay except for the Abstract Reasoning.
Managed to finished and check.

My friend told me only 60 students will be offered ... Though i do not know the number of students accepted for second phase.

About the coming parent teacher meeting, again my boy came back with some teachers telling him no need for us to see them. Do you hv the same reply?


Even if the student is coping ok, shouldn’t the teacher hv at least some constructive remarks for the parents? Really must wait until we see falling marks before can come face to face to talk?

If time is really a constraint, then maybe the school should stagger different dates for different classes or levels.
