She choose RGS and she is coping and enjoying herself there. She is one of those with lower COP compared to her most of her peer who scored 270+ but she is still doing well looking at her recent mid year result. I guess not taking 3rd language helps since I was told it takes loads of time travelling to the class.
RGS and NY are such different schools culturally. I would consider the culture and academic programmes of each school and what would be best for my child to make my decision. Cut off points really don't matter that much.jtoh:

Curious, do you and DD prefer RGS or NY? NY COP for last year was higher but I know that many still prefer RGS (My DD was one of them).
Which school did your dd choose in the end, Mummyjoyce?
Also, glad she choose RGS as I can see from the formun discussion here that traffic in NY is bad daily![/quote]Glad to hear that your dd is enjoying herself at RGS. My niece is loving it there too. Performance at PSLE doesn't reflect on performance in secondary school. Based on mid-year performance, several of my niece's friends who were top scorers didn't do as well as those who didn't do as well at PSLE. It's a whole new start.
