Hi Vicki,
Which school is nearest your home? If you can't decide, maybe you shd choose the one nearest to your home. I will be choosing Maris Stella.
Good luck to you.
Hi bigfoot,
None - i stay at Tiong Bahru - so all schools are sooo far away....
3 more days to decide! -
dorisp:
Hi Vicki, which year is your boy for Pri 1? I am also thinking of MS.

2004, 2007 and 2008. So the 07 and 08 boys school will be dependent on the kor kor! -
Hi Vicki
Mine is 2006, so the boys won't be classmates.........by monitoring the take up rates of the different phases this year, I cannot help but to feel nervous for those waiting to ballot......cannot imagine what it is like when my turn comes....
-
spikey:
I think MGS will ballot at <1 km
I think so too. This has been the case for the past 2-3 years.
Just wondering :? since MOE mentioned 2004 has the lowest birth rate, where did all these kids come from, filling up schools at rates alarming parents. -
Mummies.. pls enlighten me.
Just saw the MOE website that number of vanancy for Phase 2B is out. Take Anderson Pri Sch for example... Total vacancy is 210 so minus all the earlier phase 1A to 2A2 (total 122). So Phase 2B should have 88 (210-122). But why the website only indicate 44. :? -
hi piggy2007, you are so lucky to get a recommendation letter. How long did you join the clan & which school will you apply?
-
Ohh. got it......
:thankyou: -
Does anyone knows how many PVs are there in Nanyang Pri for this year which is for next year intake?
-
sawakoh:
If 2004 is one of the years with lowest birth rates, why is the TUR% so much higher compared to last year?
janet_lee88:
That's because our attentions have been directed at the popular schools, and so happened those born in 2004 have older siblings currently studying, or parents who studied in these popular schools. If you take a look at the stats of the less popular schools, the TUR is actually lower.Just wondering :? since MOE mentioned 2004 has the lowest birth rate, where did all these kids come from, filling up schools at rates alarming parents.
Eg. Balestier Hill 21% 2009, 16%2010; Jing Shan 44% 2009, 34% 2010;
Qiaonan 19% 2009, 11% 2010. -
Looking at PHPP TUR, I think there will be fierce balloting for all PVs. I am staying 1-2km from the school.
What do you think?
