Still thinking of which catholic school to put my name on on Thursday. U gals reckon SJIJ will have balloting for >2km?

My take is this will be the first year SJIJ will have no balloting for Phase 2B.

My bet is there will be balloting for more than 2km for SJI this year..

P1 registration can be nerve wrecking!

I think SJIJ will have balloting outside 2km. Lots of new developments in the area which may mean the number of entrants within 1km or 1-2km might be higher. Also, ACSP seems very popular this year so that might drive those in the vicinity to try for SJIJ instead? Anyway, good luck to all!

i think part of the reason is this website. more people are better informed so more people know what to do. e.g. today's numbers for phase 2b are already higher than they have ever been before and still got one more day to go

I called SCGS and the voice recording states that 29 registered for Phase 2B, while only 48 places left for Phase 2C.

Based on past years' data, Phase 2C's within 1km registered children average about 54-59 number. If this year's Phase 2C is only 48 places, I guess there'll likely be balloting for within 1km. Really hope only 48 applicants are within 1km..then no need for balloting.

anyone here has the past years balloting history for acspri?

not in percentage but figures, esp the within 1km, 1-2km and 2km? phase 2b required. stayg within 1km now, but son registering few yrs later.

noticed acs pri didnt show the figures like acs jr.

if any mommy who has kept the record, doesnt mind sharing, can share here or pm me.
