condos are mushrooming around Pei Hwa and MGS…all within 1 km. Not surprising that the numbers are going up. Moreover PH cut one class…sigh. Must prepare for battle next year.

Have been browsing and never post previously. Seems like MGS has broken its previous record this time. P2B will see balloting for those <1km>1km have no more chance. Really scary. :shock:

My guess is more of balloting for >1km <2km>2km no chance.

It’s scary to see MGS with such overwhelming applicants…at 2B.

I was even thinking of writing in to be on wait list (nearer home), but looks like I can forget about it altogether.

You can always try! My sister called up MGS a few days ago to ask about waiting list and when she queried on her chances, ie. how many students usually withdraw etc., the lady told her very nicely, \"miracles can happen!\" And so my sister is praying for a miracle now.

I told her she should have asked the lady how much a miracle would cost! :evil: Just kidding, of course!

Already confirm balloting for <1km. Checked MGS website. 38 place being offered and 41 applicant are within 1km.

Shouldn't celebrate lah...I can understand the stress of those parents who registered and have to go through the 'fish bowl'. Happend to see Chief Kiasu's 2B TUR chart. CHIJ TP is 109% in the RED.

When it comes to my DD's turn next year, looks like not so 100%...but at least they can try again at P2C if they can't make it at P2B.
