Hi BigDevil,
Thanks for your answers! Do you know if on the registration day just before u register, will you know how many have register as to determine a chance if my child can get a slot? I m actually registering for next year, but want to find out more. If I can, I will go to another school.BigDevil:
If the number stays the same at the end of today, then all 17 within 1km will get in. So do the 5 who are 1-2km. Then the 21 will ballot for the remaining 14 (36-17-5) places.i3mum:
Hi anyone can help?
I just saw the updated on NYPS for yesterday 22 Jul update for phase 2B:
within 1 km-17
1-2km- 5
outside 2km- 21
Total 43, which has exceed the no.of places (36). It hasn't include today registration.
So for those outside 2km, if ballot, will they get a chance? Or usually those within1km will take up all the slots? -
Daddy

From our experience...

the lao jiaos not the greenhorns who are clocking hours.
Those clocking hours must really work for it... still hafta choose
whether wanna be lollipop man... or stunt from one excursion
bus in the morning to another excursion bus in the afternoon..
(etc). -
janet_lee88:
But I reckon the PVs would be as blur as the other parents... if not more blur... unless they r all KSP parents...

went to register this morning with the letter from SHHK. History of the school has been that balloting was conducted for >2km for the last 3 years, so we thought it would be quite a well calculated risk as we are 1-2km.
imagine our horror when the school admin told us that the history of the school has been balloting required for 1-2km. :?
either she blur and not know the history well, or the history has not been accurate.
so now really crossing fingers for the results come 5pm. :xedfingers: -
The few PVs we met have 2 or 3 children in the school already.
Their eldest were at least in P6. A couple of them have eldest
oredi in sec sch but still have young ones in P3 and P4.
They're the solid force that rounds the school support system.
I :salute: their commitment man... so many years already.
The main sch staff will still be the one in charge of finalizing
the checks.
As for blur... i think the relief teachers are
more blur than the *lao jiaos. (*Old timer PVs)
No offence intended to relief(s) out there...
