I will be staying in Sembawang, but would like to put my daughter at Chongfu.

My questions are:
1) If i register myself as PV, what are her chances of getting in? She is born in the year of pig.
2) Besides the PV hours, not sure whether the school requires any 'donation'? Will this help my daughter's chance?

Being in the PV qualifies you in Phase 2B, if you stay in 1Km mean have any good chance, may not have to be balloting. Donations? Maybe in the old old china days donation do helps. :oops:

If u r accepted as a PV by the school, the chance of getting in is high. My friend just completed her PV & completed the registration. Do remember to apply early as my friend applied 2yrs before the P1 registration.

It really depends, historically chongfu need ballot for >2KM in phase2B. no donation required. if you could move cloer to the school and do PV at the same time, the chance would be much higher.

Thanks for all the replies.

Cannot move closer to the school liao…will be getting my key in Sept. I chose Chongfu becos there are not a lot of fantastic schools in Sembawang area (no offence to anyone, please) and this is the nearest to us (in a way).

Once i settle my house, i will be applying for PV. I want to be KS even though my DD is just 3.

For Chongfu, it will be SHHK. But either you or your spouse must be Hokkien.
