Watch a movie ? :!: You must be kidding. I don't think you can laugh even if watching a comedy. Might as well gather your courage to attend the ballot, at least you know what to do regardless what happens.

Have you got info regarding balloting ? Figures show 71 applicants for 53 seats. Will balloting be conducted for those staying out of 2km then ?

Yes, there will be balloting for those > 2km

In cases of balloting, the highest risk group is >2km.. if way over subscribed this group will be the first grp which might not even get a chance to ballot...but i have heard from parents who registered before this year that they will be informed to withdraw and try somewhere else before end of registration of the Phase (2B/2C) if that happens..
