Maisy...thanks for your feedback! I withdrew and chose to forgo the deposit with Molin since I didn't give ample notice. My DS is now with Berries Kembangan....so far so good...at least when I asked him whether he liked Molin or Berries...straight away he answered \"Berries\"...the classes are not at full capacity - there are enough and not too many kids in the class (class size is just nice). Teachers seem OK as well.

I guess I also like that Berries has a reading book and their worksheets are not loose...like Molin's...need to go find folder to keep them

      Hi VooVoo
      Thanks for sharing.
U may have mentioned earlier on but can i check with you is your child also an N2 kid?

Can u let me know which teacher is your child under? Chen Lao Shi or Zhu Lao Shi? I also think the lao shi in Berries Kembangan seems more engaging. Xie Xie Ni.

[/quote]He's in K1...but I'm not too sure who his Berries teacher is

            My boy is the same!

We noticed it when he was 2yo and started on Chinese classes when he was 2.5yo.

We found a program that he loves and now he's attending kindergarten there. Through the program, he not only learnt to accept the language, he can sing songs and recognise the words too!

It's pretty pricey but he loves it. They have a holiday program if you just want to try it out instead of plunging straight into it. PM me for info as I do not want to reveal my son's school openly due to security reasons.
            Hi Mrs Wong,

Can u pm to me the school that yr ds is attending? I would like to send my 28th month old boy to the program too. Thanks!

              Hi,

Does anyone know if there has been a change in Han Yu Pin Yin since our school days?

My son came home with worksheets from an enrichment class incorporating "r" into eg.
              Song - Ge1 now ger1
              Bird - Niao3 now niaor3

Don’t know if you understand the above examples… have no chinese typing on my computer.
              Can anyone advise?

Hi, I'm also starting to look for a fun Chinese enrichment class for my 3-year-old son. Have called berries, but the timing is not suitable (don't understand why they only have classes during his nap time). Any other recommendations will be appreciated (feel free to PM me). Thanks!

ya, i find that too! which branch did u approach? I'm looking for more 'khakis' so that they cld form a new class(they need only 4 to form one) but my child's in K1 level and I'm hoping to go to hougang branch, nearer to us.

How abt Hua language centre? Heard it's rather 'fun' for the younger level - no written work to stress them.

                    beijing qiang4 maybe?

think during our time they dun really just add the \"r\" at the back. the han yu pin yin should be \"ge er\" and \"niao er\" separately. otherwise the 儿 should be smaller size to indicate ger and niaor are single words.
