I too find that it's incorrect to say that the standard will drop after Mrs Yeo leaves, but I shall not debate on that.

Hi, can somebody explain the new rule for Singapore citizenS will be given 2 ballot slips for each child while SPR will remain 1 slip? How will the school exercise if the applicants exceed vacancies available?

Hi have checked out the moe web other than our ic, child bc and immunisation details, are there any forms to download and fill up coz i don c any… also for de lasalle if i zap the copies myself and just submit at the sch do they accept or i must personally do it at the sch. thks. next mon ph2c is coming i am so anxious. any other mummies also vying for this sch

No forms to download. Registration form will be given in hardcopy in sch, cos there's a carbon copy to it.


Pls zap all required docs n bring the Originals for the sch to certify true copy. For my sch, they return back to me the immunization records.

Hope yr child can get into DLS ....

(think its better to hv all the other forms ready on hand;
school will give u the necessary form (one with carbon copy) to fill
up & I within 10 mins, the registration is over.... )

If in the case of oversubcription and the need for balloting comes in,
citizens get two ballot slips. If there are per se... 100 applicants for
50 seats, then citizens get double chance for their child's name or
number to be called out. The rest get only one slip.

Those living under 1km will be allocated the seats first. After which,
the remaining seats will be the balance for those above 1km/1-2km,
and beyond 2km respectively.. As long as the number of seats are
less than the number of applicants vying for a place (more demand
than supply), balloting wud be required.

In the event that even under 1km is over-subscribed, balloting wud
in eventuality be inevitable.

Like the rest have shared, no forms to be downloaded. *Everything done
in person. (*registration). Zapping all copies yourself is the best way to
go. Just remember to bring all the originals for them to check against &
endorse your copy as a certified true copy. EG. Nric, birth cert, health
booklet, (etc).. Other DLS-ians can add? Any other stuff that DLS had
asked for during your registration?

Thanks buds for your explaination. Just to confirm for eg. In phase 2C it exercise of balloting, unfortunately we can’t get the place. Do we still have 2 ballots slips on the next phases?

this Singaporean gets 2 ballot slips thingy is applicable to all balloting that may occur when the number of applications exceed the number of vacancies from Phase 2A1 to Phase 2C(Supplementary).

Want my son to go DLS, but stay 1-2kim away, SV is within 1km, which one stands a better chance?
