After end of next wk - last chance for interview; will NYGH call asap to notify those with confirmed offers ? or we have to keep checking the status until end of aug when they send the letters ? DD keep telling me to relax .......

They will send out confirmed letters via snail mail.

i just called up nygh. this yr, they have 800 girls who applied to the school via DSA.


according to the lady i spoke to, even with interview done, there’s no guarantee that the girl will be offered a place…similarly, even without interview does not equate to no chance. they only picked the girls for interview randomly.

by end aug, all the girls will receive the rejection or confirmation letters.

[/quote]If we look at the application website, it states '..... inform shortlisted applicants for interview.', perhaps they will still be called up next week. I am just KP. I believe it is not so random lah... No matter what is the outcome, PSLE is more importance, so work hard all the P6ers.

nope...she's not. but i've told my ger that her chance of getting into nygh via dsa is 'no more liao'.....hopefully this will spur her to work real hard to get into her choice school!

pt 2 & t 3 - the lady i spoke to at nygh said yes to pt 2 and pt 3, she said they can't be conducting interview for all and so randomly picked the gers for it. she used the work 'randomly' so many times!

Frankly speaking, I would be very angry if I am the one who call and they tell me ‘randomly’ pick! NO standard! :x
