Anyone has kid that are p5 in 2010?

I see.
Same goes for children in tns. -
Very soon, thess groups of parents will be promoted to P6.........

My DS is in P5 this year…Even though he goes to Mavis for the E/M/S i still feel he needs a science home tutor on one to one. He seems to have forgotten his P3 and P4 diversity/system/cycles/interaction !

Hi, to recall the P3-P4 Science topics in brief, I bought a small booklet of “Quick Revision of Science Handbook” which has key concepts highlighted.
E.g. For light Energy, it includes sources of light, four basic properties of light, formation of shadows and the methodology of increase/reduce the size of shadow etc
I find it is quite useful for quick revision. -
I think to practise more questions is the way to go.

I remember for the 2nd half of the year, it should be:
For Maths
Topics already completed
Decimals, Measurements, Average, Percentages
Topics Ongoing
Should be Angles on Triangle, Rhombus, parallelogram, trapezium etc
Volume
For Science (System)*
Topics already completed
The Unit of Life (Cells), Electricity
Topic Ongoing
The Plants Transport System
The Human Circulatory System
Air and Respiratory System
*Depend on School choice on which topics should go first.
This is based on DD school and hopefully I don't miss out any topcis. Hope the above information is useful. -
Hi Brenda10
Thank you for the information.
Your dd school is moving fast.Did they cover the percentage in depth as yet?My child school is just introducing percentage and dont think they will cover angles for the final term too.
I think for science, they are moving faster altho I feel that they maybe a bit slow
Thanks again

I think what they cover in the work activity is not very depth. Therefore it would be good to let them have practice on more changeling questions ourselves.
Just my 2 cents thought -
