I remember the following conversation with my son about 3 yrs ago:

Me: better be an architect when you are grown-up
DS: what do you do now?
        Me: why bother about me?
DS: If architect is so good, then why you don't become an architect by yourself?

They can't survive in this world by solely being happy. One day when we are gone, they have to survive on their own and life is more than just being happy.

I respectfully disagree with you leh ....

You see, if they can be happy, that will be the impetus that will drive/enable them to survive in this big bad world, regardless whether they have a blue collar, white collar or no job šŸ˜„

            My 2cents .....

Not OT hor, still talking about jobs šŸ˜‰

Professional gamers have very short \"life-span\". By late twenties / early thirties, the reflects would not be as good as the younger games, thus would be replaced. And professional gamers here don't earn much, not like in South Korea.

I've 3 kids and this is my ambition :

Kid 1) Doctor but she said she is afraid of blood..... Also, I also realised doctor's job is not that great. Eg. Gynae still must rush back to hospital if someone wants to deliver in the middle of the night. So it might not be feasible after all. We think she makes a good auditor.

Kid 2) Businessman or some business development job. He makes friends easily and is more of a extrovert. He don't seem to the academic type and always been labelled as street smart. When he was young, we asked what he wants to be when he grows up... His answer was \"I want to be a children\". In our mind, we are like... wow he sure know how to enjoy life huh.

                  3) Lawyer/ MP. Due to lots of \"why\"s. She is the most eloquent of the 3 and has is quick in her thinking. So we are hoping that she can make it big. She is probably my last hope being the youngest.

                  Er.... just my dream.
