If the twin is pick at the last one, the school will open 1 extra seat for them. It will not take the seat from 2C.
So, it is good that they got it last, at least there is 1 extra happy family.[/quote]Based on my understanding, school will not open 1 extra seat but to take the extra seat from 2C with approval from MOE.

Understand approval has been granted.

And final 2C numbers had been listed in SHPS website as 42.

Yes, that is indeed the case. The school will only open an additional place if the twin was the last successful ballot in Phase 2C.

Hi… I’m new to this forum… glad to find this place with such helpful information. The past years’ data is impressive.

I live 1.0+ km (sigh, 1-2km) from St Hilda’s and 100metres from Poi Ching.

Just visited St Hilda’s website and this is what I saw:

2 August 2010

Phase 2C

Total Vacancies for Phase 2C 42
Total Registered for Phase 2C 107 (within 1km)
(on 2 Aug 10)

Gosh! 107 within 1 km! Hopes dashed… Guess I will go register at Poi Ching tomorrow.
