From 1 star RC to 4 Stars RC, any diffference in getting the letter for 2B? This morning, my Chairman told me I will receive my letter soon..some delay in process..However, he said my letter of appointment is dated June.. Finally, I can see some light... 😄 Can I be an \"active community leader\" just by attending monthly meetings only? 😛

Hi, what appt you referring to? EM? Min. we expect attendance at mthly mtg for EM. For observers, we expect more. He/she needs to be proactive and participate/help out at least RC events. Then we'll consider put him up for EM after 3 months (min.). We have observers who attend mtg on and off and never help out, still remain observers after 1 yr!

Agreed or being ask to go (observers) after 1 yr.

      Hi citygirl,

Good morning & thank you! I went to google for the information last night & saw this too. I hope the next election wont affect my GRC 🙏

ST published a commentary guessing when the election would take place. Their guess is late this year (Nov/Dec) or early next year (Mar/Apr).

Remember to check, usually due to election, the constituency will have some changes.. thus those primary school within the constituency will be affected too. If you going via GRL route, need to ensure yr letter can be used withing the same constituency.
school / vacancies for Phase 2C

      St. Hilda’ Primary School 43

St. Hilda's might be 42 for 2C as there's a pair of twins being balloted in during the 2B balloting process... they are the last names to be called/picked - ballot no: 19.

If the twin is pick at the last one, the school will open 1 extra seat for them. It will not take the seat from 2C.
So, it is good that they got it last, at least there is 1 extra happy family.
Based on my understanding, school will not open 1 extra seat but to take the extra seat from 2C with approval from MOE.

      Understand approval has been granted.

And final 2C numbers had been listed in SHPS website as 42.
