I am contemplating whether to send my kid to St Hilda or Poi Ching…

I am a PV at St Hilda already (live <2km) but have not started any PV work yet….
I live <1km away from Poi Ching

Would like to seek comments & opinion from those whose kids is at Poi Ching or St Hilda…, how good or bad is the school for the kids …

      Thank a lot….

Hi, I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here are where all the parents in-the-know are…

I am an alumni of SHPS. Would like to find out if the school still has morning assembly everyday whereby they sing hymns from a hym book and listen to short passages of the bible / or devotional stories and pray? During my time, we used to have this everyday, as well as a short service in the chapel every Friday. Do they still have such practices?

I’m choosing between SHPS and Tao Nan, and the only reason why im leaning towards SHPS is the spiritual development aspects.

                      Thanks!

                        Dear Hildan’s Parents,

First of all, I have to say that I’m quite impress with the activities that PSG has organized for the students e.g. HARP, RIFP, ILM, and MME. As a parent, these initiatives are exactly what we would like to see and to help support for school children when they are in need; good or bad regardless. Good job to you all!!

Out of interest of becoming one, I went to the school and found out that this year’s PV recruitment has started for children born in 2007.

Any strategies that you all would like to share in order to get selected as PV in this school? Is the selection stringent? And what are the chances of getting selected?

Thanks for sharing your success stories.
