Hi everyone, i'm new in this thread and i would like to join all in this topic as my kid is 5 this year. Right i'm thinking if i have made the right decision since my application for SV PV was rejected due to the fact i was staying far from there but my parents are jus 5mins walk away and my kids are there daily when i work. Now i'm looking to let my child study in Unity. We have enroll ourselves in their PV as well since its near to my place. But my worries will come again when she study there as in logistic issues šŸ˜ž Is there any feed back from unity pri school? Please advise. Thanks in advance

I attended the briefing by the school pertaining to the shifting. It's definitley going single session for all levels next year.

The principal said it's a good experience for the kids to get a chance to study in an \"old school\". They will appreciate more when they shift back to the sparkling new school two years later. I agreed!

Read the thread under \"Parent support group\" in DLS and you can find out more about this school.

my girl was studying in concord pri during p1 - p3. now she is in one of the sap school in the east. the experience are very different. the teachers in concord are very caring and attentive towards the kids. anytime if the kids not doing well, they will update the parents by phone and arrange for extra lessons. My girl really misses her teachers there. everyday got challenging math homework to discuss in school. i sort of regretted transferring her to the sap school. here teachers do not bother, no homework, no phone , no update of her progress. the whole class' result dropped, her teacher only selectively gives extra lesson to the extremely poor students because she is only free on wed afternoon. really wonder why neighbourhoold school can do it why not a sap school? the sap school only forcus on 3 best classes...

                        Thanks for narrating your experience.

I have heard that Concord teachers really care and give individual attention to kids. But very few parents in CCK area seem to be aware of how good Concord really is. That is why Concord has got just 2% votes in the poll in this thread.
