Yo…any idea on what topics will be tested for EL. Just out of curosity, did yr DS tell you the tests or you expect them to write it down on their handbook? Cos my DS did not write these 2 tests and my wife shouted him and I am wondering is she expecting too much from him? Thanks.

[/quote]Yup, Ryan also told me abt mdm rozita going on long leave.
Regarding tuition/ enrichment class, I let my DS attend numberlinks at bishan. The ctr is doing enopi maths. not directly related to the school's teaching. more of enrichment.

Doubt nationality is an issue. Based on past statistics, it would be tough to have any places left after Phase2C <1Km balloting. Suggest you refer to this website balloting history of P1 registration for better information, then decide. Hope this helps...

Nationality is not a factor at RSS. We also had indian students learning chinese.

For Phase 2C, looking backin the previous few years, all within 1km need to go for balloting. The number of vacancy = 41 this year, chance of 1 km having balloting is very very high.

How to teach? We just leave DS to sink and swim himself. So long as kids can read and understand the logic and ways of doing the various sections of a english test, think good enough.....
