PSLE coming - Tips for Energy booster please
-
mrswongtuition:
Very good tips.My fave recommendations:
- For students who are really very tired, 1 hour nap after school helps alot in terms of how much they absorb during revision/tuition after their nap. Try it out and see the difference
A tired child may learn physically but not mentally.
- If your child hates chicken essence, cook it into dishes. My fave: frog legs steamed with chicken essence. Frog legs is traditionally known to provide energy for stamina too!
- Flower essences. Not many people have heard of this. It's called Bach Flower Remedies. Google it to read more
They have different flower essence for different purposes. I normally reommend the RESCUE REMEDY as it's a ready blend, just add into normal drinking water (so smell/taste). Tried it on myself, my students, my son and even my dog. It helps to calm the nerves.
Also good for students who are very distracted.
I purchase from: http://WWW.IHERB.COM (Use YAF688 to get US$5 off your first purchase!)
They ship direct to SG at very reasonable prices. After adding shipping, it's still cheaper than buying in SG.
However, if you do not trust online shopping and want to see the physical product, you can get it at BROWN RICE PARADISE, Tanglin Mall (L2 or L3, can't recall).
- A relaxing foot massage. No need to pay, daddy or mummy can do it. To help them relax, press the tips of their big toes. Can google online on Acupressure. It helps
Thank you. -
For those interested to know more about Bach Flower Remedies, I've posted a short post on my blog about it: http://thelittleonesinmylife.blogspot.com

Just to share, I ever heard from tv, the physician sharing, also cannot give too much as it may be heaty cos the child already feel tired or stress may have some heatiness in body.
I also feel that if yr child never take all those herbal booster before better not take during exam, cos who knows may trigger to allergy or fever.
I also heard about letting the child to rest 1 week before exam and make sure got lots and enough sleep.
