My first post in this forum..


Registered my child in Endeavour Pri. We reached there around 3.30pm to avoid the morning crowd.

My guts feeling tell me, it gonna be balloting since we are the 299 parents to registered for phase 2C on first day and we staying 2km frm the sch.

True enough around 6pm received SMS msg frm the sch as they receiving 153 appln for students staying 1km.Vacancy for phase 2C is 148.

Guess, not our luck.

Im typing this frm the SMS msg I received frm the sch at 6pm :

Dear parent, we would like to inform you that at the end of today P1 registration, the sch received appln frm 153 children(living within 1km) for 148 places.This means that a ballot exercise will take place for these children.We would like to advise those living outside of 1 km to withdraw tomorrow,so that they can re-apply immediately at Phase 2C at another
sch.

Wow! I'm living in Sembawang & I ever did thought abt this school. But balloting within 1km.. erm.. Good luck to the rest of the parents!!

Thanks for posting the message from school. Very sad to know there’s a balloting exercise w/in 1km. Hope my son can get into this school.

haiz.. v worried to know balloting will be carried out for Endeavour for applicants staying within 1km.... We are staying within 1km..

does anybody know how the balloting works? ermm.. izit something like draw lots??

I received the same sms msg from EPS admin staff. Withdrew yesterday since i didnt stand a chance for balloting (staying between 1 - 2km). My block is just one block outside the 1km radius! So pek chek!! :x


Looking at the enrolled figures, balloting will only be conducted for those staying within 1km.
