Rulang Primary

RRMummy,
Go look around Rulang for the few BASCs.
The side-gate opens around 12.15pm or later. You have plenty of time to decide since your child will be p1 next year.
Another plus point of BASCs around the school is: your child will have "companions" from the same school or even same class. They will learn the same spelling list, prepare & sit for the tests at the same time etc.
Usually BASCs opens at 7am but Pro Teach has been flexible enough to let dd enters around 6.50am because hubby and I need to drop her off before rushing to work.
So you have to determine if the picking and dropping off times are ok with your family. -
Starlight, So far, I have only been to Pro-teach personally. The supervisor there was very friendly and nice.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the other considerations. I know that there is also one near the Community Center. I like these 2 which you mentioned for their proximity.
I will go down to the one at blk 514 to have a first hand feel of the environment as well as their program.
It is a relief to hear from you that at least one has been tested... I know have something to fall back on.. THANKS!!

You living in CCK? It is quite far from Rulang. I live in Bukit Batok and fyi, the school bus fare is already $110.
BTW, my dd does not take the school bus. -
Hi starlight1968sg
I cannot remember the school bus fee.
I think they have comprehensive ($130) and normal pkg ($100oretc).
U send ur DD there?
They told me CCK and Bukit PJ is direct to RL.
My son is in Pri 1 next year, I hve to reg next month, still cannot decide to choose RL or just CCK sch( which usually need to ballot) -

We don't take the school bus as hubby can send and pick her up from her school care when she was in the lower primary.
Unless you register under phase 2b, else a good chance you have to ballot in phase 2c which means your chance is even slimmer since you live quite a distance away. -
At Rulang, I saw 45 vacancies for phase 2C; balloting only for those living within 1km from the school.
This year, balloting was carried out in phase 2B; 9 applicants eyeing for 3 vacancies. -
