As mentioned above, looks like SMPS has a history of balloting at Ph2C for >2km. Applications seem to vary from just equal at 100% to a high of 122%. Note also though that at the end of Ph 2B, take up rate is 49%, which is the highest in the past few years. So that's an indication that application rate might be high for 2C this year too.

However, my chance will be higher in Hong Wen as within 1km. Wish me good luck!

[/quote]U obtained the results from the school? Becos the numbers on the MOE website is different. Maybe you should call the schools to find out the breakdown of applications by distance (<1km>2km) then u will have a better idea of your chances. Are u going to station urself and ur hubby at each school?

Hmmmm....so if none of the 95 applicants pull out, balloting will be <1km and others who lived further will have to start looking for alternative schools

Hong Wen cfm ballot within 1km. As they only hv 90 places and 95 of them are within 1km.
