i remember there was one year Mee Toh had almost no applicants. Now they move to Punggol got balloting already woh.... so maybe GY should move to a new housing estate. Or maybe with their new building coming up, more may apply there.

GY is undergoing PRIME upgrading now, after completion, the school will have some very good facilities :

* Indoor Sports Hall
* Multi Purpose Hall
* 2-level Multi-media Library
* AV Theatre
* Art Deck
* IT Hub
* Dance Studio
* Recording Studio
* Student Care Centre

Ha, how I wish KCPPS has such facilities too!

Hope that GY can become an option for kids in Bishan after the upgrade. Otherwise, the same situation will appear among the other 3 schools in the future.

I really hope the situation in the 3 bishan schools will ease next year when my turn comes. Hopefully GYPS will become a draw factor by being spanking new! <cross>

To be honest, doubt the situation will ease -- since the birth rate has u-turned up in 2005!!

Yes, I also doubt about this. when my turn comes, phase 1 occupied by
siblings , huge numbers from Y2004's born quaified on 2A), especially for CHS....

really really possible that no chance for 2B.
