I have enrol my gal into beacon next yr. I wanted to know how is the school and the circulum from parents who has children current studying there. Pls advise. tks

Hi, I just saw the MOE's website stating Beacon only requires balloting for children in 1- 2km. Does this means my girl will not have to ballot already as we r staying within 1km. Just want to confirm before i m too happy.

Beacon is a good school, my Kids are in P1 and love it. Curriculum is the national curriculum but they tend to use a lot of IT while teaching. If you have any specific questions, do write here and we'll try to answer them.

Why don't you call the school tomorrow to confirm. Remember school ends at 1030 tomorrow for National Day.

Tks, btw their homework will be done online or is written. I am afraid that too much IT will affect their PSLE result as PSLE are all written.[/quote]

Well in P1, most of the work is written. They do use IT for stuff like reading and DST. But just because this is a future school that does not mean that writing is ignored.


Also since this school is part of the Future Schools project, who knows what will happen in PSLE exams 4-5 years down the line.

does anyone of you stay at Senja rd? Jus want to find out the pickup time for school bus arrangement and what time the children will reach home after school?
