Hahaha. it is better that way than to regret!

Somehow i felt that i haven't had enough uni despite having much.
Do you know where to get reasonably priced uni don in Singapore?

      Hi Carebear

Kobe refers to cuts of wagyu beef. Yap, that was what we had. The price there was about the same as what you would get for a regular beef over here. So it was natural choice for Kobe at every possible meal.

Yes, the sashimi was so fresh that they were good on their own. i am sure you will have a good time especially at the seafood markets.

The ones we went at Masyu and Lake Toya were ryokan. But we did not opt for their meal. My daughter needed cooked meat (pork beef poultry). Son prefers meat too.

      Enjoy your trip 🙂

Oh dear, all along i thought kobe beef was from kobe.
Although i eat beef (usually minute beef), i am not a beef person, so have not paid attention to the types of cut.
When my DS and DH went for their wagyu beef, my DD and I went to eat sashimi. I ate so much of the uni that i so longed for until i almost puked!

Actually, i have not eaten uni in Singapore. It is too expensive. I think i saw some in Cold storage in Takashimaya which looks good, but i have not tried it.
I don't mind paying for it in Japan as i know it is fresh.

Hi, my father took a day trip to Hokkaido by JR.
He said it was smooth and easy.

Has anybody been to Club Med at Hokkaido? Could you share your experience? That's like my dream holiday, a full week of skiing, staying in the snow mountains and feasting on yummy Japanese food! 😄

December is not good for free and easy cos it is dangerous to drive there due to snow and unfamilarity of the roads.
Why not go with Prime travel?
I had a fantastic time in Hokkaido with them in June.
December, they don't have fly and drive tour.
