If you've time, pick up yoga. It's how I learn to manage my fiery temper and control my outbursts. That, plus lowering my expectations (but not giving up..continuing to be a friend/tutor/mum to the kids) helped.Hi,

Hi,
Good suggestion
Thanks for the sharing. -
Yes!!!! I couldn't agree more with mathsparks!!! I've been into yoga practice 4 years now....it definately helps to control our mind, breath, focus and be ourself!!! Somehow we will be able to control our emotion and stay calm. Strange but true!!!
Oh, well....not so much of lowering our expectations, but to learn, understand and accept our kids's strength and weakness. Each child is different. But it is very true to always stay close and be their friend/tutor/mum!!! -

Hi All
In order for a child to score a PSLE T score of 245, how many As and A* does he/she has to score? -

My boy is in P6 in year. What I did is I ask my boy wat is really want in furture and wish school he like to attend next year. Once he make up his mind we work towards it but we also prepared him for the worst.
I find that this way seem to work on him because he decide the school and we work together to achieve it. -
Hi Sally,
Tks for your suggestion. I did ask my gal which sch she intends to go and she told me is Cedar Girls. So I looked at Cedar’s cut off point for last year was 244 so i told her that with 245 she is actually at the borderline edge of going in… Anyway, she still has a year to brush up… and hopefully by then she can make it.
Good luck to your boy who is taking his PSLE this year. Guess the school did give them alot of pressure? -

Hi
Yes, the school do give them pressure and also depend on the teacher and child.
Make good use of this year to prepare your girl next year. All The Best.
