Based on what I remember, there's no such thing as full marks or a 300 point aggregate system, not because no one scores full marks but because other factors are taken into consideration when calculating the aggregate. It's not a straightforward case of adding 4 subjects & divide by 3.

Yes i agree. There is no such thing as 300 is the full mark, cos standard deviation and mean marks has to be taken into consideration. This has been mentioned all over in this website. There was once a person using an eg that the student gets full marks for all subjects but with the std deviation and mean marks, the T score doesnt comes up to 300.

I bought the 2009 P6 Top school papers today. For 3 subjects (excluding Chinese), I paid $45. Sounds a reasonable price to me.

Just a fyi. If you can get them lower than this price, don't tell me, but don't pay more than $45. ๐Ÿ˜„
Tks Lizawa for informing us on the price. Thats fast. I thought usually its only out in Feb. Where did you get it?

      Hi Anxious Mom

To complete the mid year topics by dec. Are you refering to P5 topics? See that really make me kanchang.

But if I start the revision now with my son... My hubby will probably think that I am super KS.

Worst of all is I very kanchang, but my hubby is very relax... he watches TV went he knock off from work and my kids get 'attracted' to the TV.

Sorry, didnt make myself clear. I intend to start her off with her Pr 6 Maths during weekends so that weekdays she can start to do her assessment books while iI'm at work. Also, I will be getting the Sci Ass Book from Popular where she can start to do her revision for pr 3-5 during the dec holidays. cos i believe when sch reopens, they dont have much time to do our homework. Since Pri 1, I have been giving my dau daily homework for 3 subjects during sch holidays. So left with Chi where there is nothing much we can do.

In fact, I will start next week, since her exams will be finished by today. Will start her off with past years Eng papers first. Thereafter weekends will coach her on maths. I've actually trying to target to complete the mid year topics by dec. By Feb, will start her on 2009 CA1 papers from those top schs.. time is tight for Pr 6... so have to be kiasu...

Can anyone help to solve this qn? tks.

Matthew and Paul have a sum of money at first. If Matthew gives Paul $80, he will have twice as much as Paul. If Matthew gives Paul $20, he will have thrice as much as Paul. How much money did Matthew have at first?
