Where to get nice children's furnitures?
Yesterday, I saw the children tables and chairs which was made of wood (design similar to the Ikea but made of plastic) from explorerkids. Do you know where to get these?

where can i find disney themed furniture? -
Unfortunately in Singapore, most of the specialised children furniture stores close down after about 1 year of operation in the retail side.
i believe this is a tough business to survive because most parents, unlike us, will not invest in children's furniture and will buy the single or super single bed for their children to cater for their growth.
Fortunately the store I bought from is still surviving and their quality and design is better than IKEA. Their furniture is able to grow together with the child. I love their play concept as my kid likes the curtains, the canopy, the storage pockets and the ladder etc... it is fun. But another store which I bought the princess sofa from has closed down....:( They used to carry nice sofas, tables/chairs and storage cabinets for children.

Jedamum, there used to be a store in United Square that sold completely disney themed furniture but had since shut down and became like a mini Uncle Ringgo place for children to play. -
We like Flexa here, like ks2me. The beds, especially, cater to my kids’ imaginations. We have the knights and princess themes, complete with slides, play-counters etc. Enormous fun for the kids. Plus points for Flexa furniture: quality (sturdy construction, rounded corners etc) and modular system to grow with kids. Also, I am sensitive to many chemicals so ‘safe’ furniture is a priority; Flexa fits my requirements with their sturdy solid wood (no compressed/plywood); ‘safer’ varnish, formaldehyde-free finishes etc.
Minus point: cost! and sometimes a long wait for available stock. Ours are purchased from the U.S. where most pieces are 2 to 2.5 times cheaper, especially with clearance sales. IMO it’s a bit overpriced here. -
Overpricing is normal. because store has to pay for high overheads like rental (which can kill), manpower, etc. That's why things are so much expensive than other countries.

The disney store is call cmyroom. Is it close down already? I recall they also have a outlet at little road and IFC. We got hot wheels cupboard and the princess beds from there.
We got a \"ferrari\" bed for my son from The green at Tanjong Katong complex. It was ferrari as it was having a horse logo and not some deer logo :lol: It was only $300. Quality is so so as we don't expect it to last for a long time either esp when he outgrows it.
Piccolo is a choice too but I find the selection more girls driven.
Another place is at liang court. They have those kids furniture. But not sure if it is still there.
BTW, I got 2 disney princess canopy. Those hang on the ceiling and with the net flow down. Bought it from US disney stores. Do PM me if any of you is keen. -

Wah...I have to pay for the overheads of the retail showroom here. But it's still a worthwhile investment for us as my kid has had alot of fun times with this setup in her room. She had a few sleepover parties and the bed being on the high side has created new storage space for her presents received....while still having an area for playing under the bed. Typically bedrooms setup is more appealing to girls than boys. Boys, if given a car bed, would be satisfied already...so furniture makers will focus on more accessories and concepts for girls I suppose, even beddings has more designs for girls than boys.
Now if a whole bedroom concept consists of Lego pieces, then it will make all the boys' heads turn, perhaps even big boys known as men.

I haven't been to their shop but will definitely pop by one of these days. Their furniture looks really nice. I bought the small little sofa but not from them. Got it at a shop in marina sq. Opposite the SONY shop. -
