If the child continues to get HD in P4 and P5, then those results will carry more weight than the P3 HD. If the child only gets HD in P3, but not in higher primary, then it means his stand has dropped, so it does not reflect well on him. That maybe why most DSA schools only ask for P5/P6 results.

The schools will hold the results of P5 and P6 in higher regard than P3. Some schools do not place much value on ICAS results because most of the applicants all scored distinction or high distinction in such tests so nothing sets you apart from the others.

I was told that they have not been released yet. Because the Interviews for GEP applicants are due to be completed only by tomorrow (13 Aug). After that, it may take a week to finalise the results for them. Hence, the results for Mainstream (Academic domain) are likely to be released only after 20th August.

If anyone has more info, kindly update. Thank you.

I agree with mamatay that the wait is really agonising! Dun want to talk about it in front of DS as he is already feeling the stress of it all :?


I think the coming week will be full of excitement as the results reveal. Let's update each other successful / unsucessful so that we can all get on with PSLE preparation :lol:

Ifthe child is rejected in the DSA; he will be stressful and disappointed and might even affect next week oral. Parents, please support your child if the result is -ve and look forward to SCORE in the coming PSLE.
