They engaged a teacher from julia gabriel for the program, honestly, I like the program coz they'll prepare the kids for a short skid (according to the theme of the term) and parents will be invited for the performance. As parents, we'll be updated with the progress of the kids and I believe the kids will also feel proud and rewarding to be able to perform in front of their parents.

My boy doesn't take the school bus (it's ard $70/mth). I'll go fetch him everyday.

            hi weishy,

                Hi joajoa,

                U r welcome... πŸ™‚

For nursery, if im not wrong, mak is 15. But it depends too. Sometimes got child quit fr class n switch to childcare or versa or got new intake. Last yr ratio was +/- 11:1 for my kids class.

                Nursery fr 9am to 12noon or 1pm to 4pm.

Anyone has any feedback with Sparkletots at Jelebu Road? It’s a relatively new childcare in Bt. Panjang.

                    returning:
...I will be returning back to Singapore end July and am wondering if I should enroll my elder son who should be attending K2 this year, to a kindergarten or enrichment classes. He has been attending school over here in China but the standard is not as comparable as K2 in Singapore. He will be attending P1 in 2010. any advice or recommendations of good enrichment courses?

Since he is coming from China, can I assume he has no problems with Chinese? And if you have been conversing with him in English, he should have no problems with that either. The only thing left is to determine:
                    1. His reading capability. Can he read simple story books?
                    2. His math capability. Can he do simple sums and subtractions?

If the answer is yes to all of these questions, he should be ok in Primary 1.

I see my girl's Kindy story books, all v simple and she is able to read it with a breeze. When I borrow those books from the library with harder and more words, it seems so hard for her. Now I'm not sure if I'm expecting too much from her :?: ... She is in K1 now.
