Just called up Nan Hua, 17 people outside of 2km balloting for 13 seats.

In that case, there should be 15 slips x 2 (assuming all S'poreans) for the 13 seats taking into consideration there are 2 pairs of twins this year. For every set of twins selected, 2 seats will be taken and vice versa. Actually for last year, Nan Hua waived the balloting and absorbed the extra few seats. They decided not to do so this year. Hope they change their minds πŸ™

The 2 pairs of twins are outside 2km?

Ya I’m keen to know what time P1 students start and end too.

Is CCA compulsory for students esp for p1?

            Can any parent share? Thanks!

                  Hi fooblack,

Don't worry yourself so much. So far there had been no balloting required for phase 2A in any of the schools. So it's pretty much confirmed that your child will get a place in NH.

Thanks for the assurance. We will intentionally shift all the way from Seng Kang to study in NH.

If not a confirmed place, my wife and i will :stupid:

                  haha...

hehe, so far i tink phase 2a1/2a2 confirmed have a shot in. btw u were saying that your child will be in only in 2013..which means he/she is born in 07?? same here!! i will be under phase 2a2, no need to waste money join alumni..hehhe

Understand that the official school bus doesn’t travel to all places in Singapore. Does anyone has the contact no. for private school bus transport from Nan Hua Primary to Orchard area?

I am desperately looking for a bus that will take my son after school to Killiney road area. Please forward me the private bus contact list if you have any..

                      THanks.

hi ilynn, thank you for your suggestion.

Since the Comfort bus company which is appoitned by the sch cannot provide the service, I have actually make an effort to find out the rest of the existing Private bus service provider from NHPS and only one provides the service to Woodlands but what annoyed me is that he is demanding at $400+, thinking that I have no other alternative but to get his service. I did not want his service as it is really ridiculous! I have checked up the cost from Woodlands to NYPS is only $120 and here the guy is demanding $400 and my son will be last one to alight from the bus everyday. No way to pay this person $400!

BTW, Which level is your child in? How do you send you child to sch? do you train him to take the bus or MRT? What time does the sch morning flag raising start: at 7.15 am or 7.30am?
