      Hi mums & dads,

Just to get your opinion. If one of you (or both of you) is working at the CBD area, would you bring along your child to the childcare center near to your office? Appreciate your feedback! Thanks! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hi! I think you posted in the wrong forum but I think Chief will help move it later.

About childcare in CBD area: Since I take public transport, the answer is NO. I have seen a father taking his child home on some evenings from Tanjong Pagar station and he stands all the way carrying her to Jurong East and beyond. Can you imagine carrying child or pushing stroller and all the stuff that babies/children come with? And if you have 2 or more children?

However, if you have a car, and you feel secure to have your child near you at work throughout the day, go ahead. You just need to make sure that the child can eat/be entertained in the car on the way home, especially if thereโ€™s a traffic jam or heavy rain.

I saw one establishment in Amoy St. but forgotten about its name. From outside it looks quite nice, but negative point is that its is quite small as you know amoy st shophouses.

                    hi mummies,

I am currently sourcing out for the ideal CC for my kid. Realised that it seems quite popular but there are no topic for Del-Care?

Any recommendation or reviews about Del-Care?

                    appreciate.

There are a number of childcare centres around the Tanjong Pagar districts. Any of the parents send their kids to these centres and how do you find them? Hope to hear some comments

I would put my child near one of the parent's working place

(assuming no one to mind the kids at home)

                        - when child is sick and need immediate attention, he might not be able to wait for u to commute home and pick him up (even if driving, might encounter jams)

                        - the other advantage, parents have the convenience/flexibility to attend meet-teachers session, or mini-celebrations ๐Ÿ˜‰
