do note that the registration dates reflected as of now is last year's registration dates.

a lot of reading up and understanding to do...start now and you still have 3 mths to digest everything.

Just wanted to know what is the * next to Phase 2B? I hope to be in this phase (since I am a PV) but I will be away in a business trip on those days. Hopefully my dh can complete the formalities..

I am currently staying within 1km of Beacon School.
It seems that this school is getting to be very popular.
One of the main reasons for choosing this school is that my kid can walk to school by the park connector.

hi newbie hotfudgesoda,
in the next few months will be very exciting for you.
since you are here with your first post (ie without starting any new topic), I would like to direct you to -
1. http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3311 is a die-die-must-read for you if you don't have Phase 1 or 2 privileges.
2. you can refer to http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=486&start=0for beacon's discussion too.
if i am staying with 1km of Beacon (ie if I am successful in my HDB balloting given my lousy number), I will surely go pv in Beacon if I intend to choose its 'IT' curriculum over the tried-and-tested Greenridge's curriculum. But since PV may be too late for you right now, it is best that you select a Choice B school if you intend to monitor up to phase 2C's 2nd day registration before deciding, or go ahead and try your luck at Beacon.
Personally, I find all the schools at Bukit Panjang to be pretty decent (most of which offered a wide range of decent CCAs).
