Yes was the best feeling ever.... like striking lottery.... never expected to ballot based on past year statistics.. chances were good but 2 people would nevertheless not get a place.... so it was still very frightening.

Congratulations, BizyMum. Yes, with the new projects (Hillcrest Villa and the new one where the apartments used to be) have pushed the number of applicants for Phase 2C for <1 km radius category.

                Aquamarine, Bizymum and Bicky,
WELCOME and :celebrate: at becoming an RGPS Parent.

We all aren't very active here but there is sufficient discussion to keep this thread going. I myself have learnt lots here...and validate that with my girl. My #2 joins your girl in P1 next year too!

Yeah, my girl will also be joining P1 next year. Hurray! Is it really very stressful in RGPS? My frens are asking me to sign up for Learning Lab but I do have a budget to work with and just want to sign up for the necessary. Anyone heard about I-Creative? Is it good?

Did the school draw 63 times ballot in or just 2 times ballot out?

I feel P1/P2 are honeymoon for them.

I assume u are talking about the English course from I-Creative. My child learnt and benefited a lot during her K1/K2. When come to P1 what they are teaching is on par with the school. Now P2 the school is teaching more.

I have a girl going to P1 in 2012. I hope to get her into RGPS. I’ve filled in the parent volunteer application form and sent it in. Unfortunately, there have been no news, not even a rejection. Can anyone tell me if this means that I’ve been rejected or they just haven’t come to the time to recruit parent volunteers for parents with children born in 2006?

Any help on this is much appreciated!!!
